Right of Withdrawal & Refund Policy
Right of Withdrawal (Consumers in the EU/EEA)
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires pursuant to Section 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB) if the provider has begun performing the contract after the consumer
(1) has expressly consented to the provider beginning performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and
(2) has confirmed their awareness that, by giving this consent, they lose their right of withdrawal once performance of the contract has begun.
Both declarations are given in the order form by means of a mandatory checkbox; without this confirmation, the order cannot be completed.
For the Book Service (book-drop.de/buchservice), the order is not placed via an online payment form but via a personally sent payment link. In this case, we obtain the two declarations mentioned above separately in text form (by e-mail) before production begins; without this confirmation, we do not start production.
Consequences of Withdrawal
Insofar as the right of withdrawal has not expired under the conditions set out above, in the event of an effective withdrawal the provider shall repay all payments received from the consumer without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which the notification of the withdrawal of the contract was received by the provider. The repayment will be made using the same means of payment that the consumer used in the original transaction.
Refund Policy for Customers Outside the EU/EEA
If you are located outside the European Union / European Economic Area (for example in the United States), no statutory right of withdrawal under EU law applies to your purchase. Because delivery of the digital product begins immediately after payment, purchases are final once performance has begun.
Independent of this, our refund policy applies to all customers worldwide: if, due to a technical error in the automated creation process, no deliverable result of the ordered product can be produced, we automatically refund the full purchase price to the payment method you used. No request on your part is required. Depending on the payment method, the credit is issued within five to ten business days. Statutory rights that cannot be waived under the law of your place of residence remain unaffected.

Consumers can declare their withdrawal directly here.
